🕵️Qualification & Medical Review

This is Turbo Law’s in-depth analysis stage. It enriches the preliminary findings with comprehensive data extraction, bookmarking, and auto-annotation so reviewers can jump straight to cited pages.

The Qualification & Medical Review Process is a “deeper dive” review that includes additional data points to build a robust medical review. During this process, the records are annotated, bookmarked, and linked to the summary to allow easy review of referenced documents.

  1. Wait for processing to finish. After clicking Generate Qualification & Medical Review from the Actions tab in the case or from the Cases list, an in-progress bar appears on both the case and the Cases list.

  2. Choose your display mode.

    • When the review completes, two buttons appear in the upper-right corner: Timeline View and Detailed View.

    • Toggle between them at any time.

A. Timeline View The Timeline View provides a general overview of the claimant’s information and the case's facts, followed by a series of relevant events organized chronologically.

  1. Scan the Claimant Overview (top of Timeline View). This will include basic demographic information about the claimant as well as the Primary Medical Conditions that were found in the records that are relevant to the case type.

    • Demographics and Primary Medical Conditions relevant to the litigation are listed here.

  2. Review Case Qualification Status. This section provides a summary of the key qualifying information found in the records. This section also identifies deficiencies that may need to be cured in order to strengthen (or, if the case is disqualified, to qualify) the case.

    • Key qualifying facts, plus any identified deficiencies that need curing, are summarized.

  3. Walk the Chronology. This section includes all relevant events identified in the records and is presented in chronological order to provide a quick overview of the case's major events.

    • Events are displayed in date order with color-coded icons for diagnoses, treatments, exposures, etc.

    • Click an event to preview the cited page on the right.

B. Detailed View The Detailed View presents a narrative summary at the top, followed by sections that present all data points and their associated references.

At the top of this section, the Qualification Summary will be generated, similar to the Pre-Qualification Summary but with additional details.

  1. Read the Qualification Summary (top banner).

    • Provides the Qualified/Disqualified outcome and narrative—often richer than the Pre-Qualification version.

  2. Expand any data section in Patient Information & Medical Timeline:

    1. Click the ▸ (arrow) next to a section header (e.g., Diagnosis Information, Treatment Information).

    2. The row expands to show a “See Items” line with a reference count.

  3. Drill into individual references.

    • Click the beside See Items to list each entry (Entry 1, Entry 2, …).

    • Entries display data points (e.g., DVT diagnosis) and the source file name.

  4. Open the source document.

    • Click Go To Reference to load the page on the right; the cited text is auto-highlighted.

    • Use the built-in navigation (Next/Previous highlight) to quickly verify context.

  1. Address deficiencies or finalize.

    • Need more records? Return to Document Upload, add files, then re-run Qualification Review.

    • Satisfied? Proceed with downstream workflows (e.g., generate forms, settlement maximization) knowing every data point is linked and audit-logged.
