🏛️Litigation Setup

Use this to tailor each litigation’s qualification rules. You can start with TurboLaw’s defaults, tweak them, or create your own.

  1. Go to: Account (left menu) → Litigation Setup tab.

  2. Pick a litigation: Use the dropdown to select the matter you want to edit.

  3. Edit criteria:

    • Click any criterion to modify thresholds/values.

    • Click Add Criterion to create a new rule.

  4. Version history & rollback: Open History to review past criteria sets and Revert to restore a previous version.

  5. Credits & extras: Use the Credit Calculator to estimate additional credits if you add criteria beyond the allowed list.

Notes & tips

  • Criteria presets: TurboLaw maintains out-of-the-box rules; you can clone and customize them per litigation.

  • Impact scope: Changes apply to new evaluations immediately; re-run scoring on existing cases if you want updates reflected.

  • Guardrails: If an action will consume credits, you’ll see a confirmation pop-up.

  • Best practice: Name custom criteria clearly (e.g., “Medical: BMI ≥ 30”) and add short descriptions so our product knows why it exists.

That’s it—you’ve configured litigation rules tailored to your workflow.
